Another character cameo in this page! Can you guess who it is? If you're interested in the chance of getting your OC in TPoH, or some other tasty treats (such as a personalised copy of the first volume of TPoH) have a look at the rewards section of my patreon over at https://www.patreon.com/sarahjolley
=w= It's all so pretty, but I don't think I can put in an OC of mine. Especially just by paying $100.00 a month. I'd love to do $1.00 at least.
@Yang Koete: I'm pretty sure you only have to pay 100 bucks the one time, you can drop the amount you pay per month after that if you need to (and besides, if you follow Homestuck you'll know that some people have paid a VERY large amount to have their OC's in a comic so that is actually a really reasonable price!).
Now all I need to do is save up 100 dollars without accidentally spending it on video games...
@the colours aaaaa: I know that feel bro. I know that feel. -Sister comes in- Sister: We all know that feel.
You know, I've always liked the way you use colour in this comic. Very few pages showcases it like this one. Absolutely stunning.
Gosh, I guess you could say this page is
This is...SO COOL!!!!
The wording is making me nervous. You can't just SAY that RGB and then expect things to be fine. I predict a catastrophe.
"If there's but one safe place in all the world, that's where you go".
And if that place stops being safe, all the people gathered there are basically sitting ducks waiting to be hunted. :/
$100.00 dollars for an OC cameo?! As much as I want my TPoH OC in the comic, I barely have $11.00!
The thing is though that for a comic THIS GOOD, I think it's more than fair to ask $100 to be included in its pages and have your OC immortalized in print. Especially since they're not weird little i-spy tiny cameos crammed in a corner somewhere. :U Like they're actually good-sized commissions of the character that also get to exist within a work that many many more people will see for as long as the comic is up / printed.
@Kata: amen sister o/
Can all the people who are complaining that 100 dollars is a lot please consider what that is doing to the artist? For the service being offered it is a very reasonable price, and I understand that some of us cannot afford it (student here, very much the same), but what you're doing is a) making the artist feel ashamed for asking for support and b) brow beating the price of commissions which are grossly undervalued enough as it is. Mod is a professional, she worked as a storyboard artist for three years for pity's sake, and this is the chance to immortalize a character in a work of art! Let's cut her some slack okay?
Rant over and TL:DR it's okay to not be able to afford things but this comic is great and we should be glad it exists at all so hush puppies.
Just throwing my hat into the ring with the above comment! Peoples' expectations for the price of art is horrible these days, no wonder so many cartoonists barely hit minimum wage. I'm really starting to understand why Mod made her own website without a comment section =.=
RGB gets more memorable lines in than a quote a day calendar.
But anyways, looking forward to the next page! Chapter 11 here we come.
