The ideas are... OVER 9000!
Brain overload; now it doesn't know what to buy~

Reply MecanicalCH, July 7th, 2013, 11:35 am

now that was smart! XD Tv makes Ideas fade away! XD

Reply Amarinth (Guest), July 7th, 2013, 6:18 pm

I know it was a dangerous thing, but death by infomercial is a pretty cruel punishment for that poor idea.

Reply Guest, July 7th, 2013, 9:23 pm

Haha, clever!

Reply Katasev (Guest), July 7th, 2013, 9:27 pm

Poor crumply RGB. I still feel bad for how floopy he gets when the dial's switched. At least now they won't be devoured by an Idea. :W

@MecanicalCH:

I still disagree that television leads to the death of ideas. Then again, I've invested in the fact that my B.A. in Visual Media needs to hold more relevancy than a PHD in underwater basket weaving.

@GabrielsThoughts: I think it really just depends on the /type/ of TV you're watching. QVC is utter drivel, but a good dose of science, history, sci-fi, fantasy... whatever is great for a kickstart! It's pretty obvious Hero picked the channel carefully, didn't want to shove something stimulating at the Idea.

@Laura: ding ding ding your answer is correct you win a kiss on the cheek (sorry just had to clarify a teeny bit because I am not being 100% anti-television, although the story itself will explain these concepts verrryyyy gradduuuaaalllly)

Reply PhantomJames, July 8th, 2013, 11:39 am

I guess thats how the not so old saying goes:

TV kills ideas.

Reply Frostwings, July 8th, 2013, 1:41 pm

Amazing. I would have never thought of that.

Reply Narkota16, July 8th, 2013, 11:25 pm

@GabrielsThoughts: I think it just distracts the idea :P so now it's a different idea.

Reply Witenka (Guest), July 10th, 2013, 1:43 pm

Wow, that's simultaneously funny -and- depressing. Now there's one less Idea in the world!

Reply Harrow, July 13th, 2013, 7:18 pm

Oh god, the infomercials! Not the informercials! Anything but the informercialss

Reply Silaya Arctic Prower, May 19th, 2014, 1:04 pm

@Amarinth: ....actually I think it's fitting. A boring death by infomercial for an overexcited idea.

Reply Meemie7, June 15th, 2014, 9:57 pm

Waaaait a second... WHAT THAT DOG IN A DRAWING HAINGING ON THE WALL IN HERO'S OLD BEDROOM!?

Reply fantasiekey, July 9th, 2014, 3:24 pm

The commercial world: where ideas go to die. I love it!

Reply YideSilence, February 24th, 2015, 11:32 pm

@Meemie7 ... yes...

Reply Yay (Guest), March 8th, 2016, 1:36 pm

Best way to destroy inspiration; infomercials. The most soul-sucking, uninspired creation of all time. Brilliant!

Reply Nice-ness, March 11th, 2016, 6:13 pm

Amazing!

Reply YoshinDause, June 26th, 2016, 11:47 pm

This is so fucking true.

Is it bad that the idea dying made me kinda sad?
