Was the sun treated like a holy figure? Also this page is absolutely bootiful

Reply ArtsyLee (Guest), July 12th, 2015, 6:09 am

Well done, Sarah! An entire week of updates is thoroughly impressive.

I'm suspecting, somehow that this story isn't going to be overly bright.

Reply Crack Theorist (Guest), July 12th, 2015, 6:51 am

The texture reminds me of butterflies. Oh shi

Reply Lub dub (Guest), July 12th, 2015, 8:27 am

THIS IS ALL ACTUALLY REALLY TERRIFYING

Reply Jero (Guest), July 12th, 2015, 10:26 am

WHAT! No one liked the tree that's so sad.

Reply Guest, July 12th, 2015, 11:00 am

damnit not again why did I even expect this story to be anything other than horribly depressing when I know Mod's track record for stories is just infinite gut-wrenching sadness with an occasional funny one to throw us off guard

Reply heliumsquid, July 12th, 2015, 11:04 am

Because naturally, this is what RGB thinks Hero means by "bright story".

Thanks. Thank you for making this comic. All your stories are amazing, and I hope you can keep writing and drawing comics. Good luck with your health problems.

What if this story is telling how Hate came to be?

Reply Andrea (Guest), July 12th, 2015, 4:03 pm

be okay, mod!!

I cry...

Reply letta (Guest), July 12th, 2015, 7:30 pm

Is it just me or does the phrase sound like a religious text?

Reply Alura (Guest), July 18th, 2015, 10:48 am

@letta: That's exactly what I thought!

Reply Candy (Guest), July 12th, 2015, 10:12 pm

Oh no this is so sad. RGB you better be getting to a happy ending or Hero will be very upset.

Reply Melangell (Guest), July 13th, 2015, 9:35 am

Moth? Oh my squeak. The way the "Butterfly"'s wings lay when it's landed on something makes it look more like a moth. Moths are attracted to light, even when it's at the cost of their own wellbeing... what if this is part of its scheme? "If I can't have The Light, no one can!"

Reply Story Guardian 171 (Guest), July 13th, 2015, 10:28 am

Fascinating, we all anticipate the next update. I have many questions but I will ask this one, is the light the tree, or is it something else?

Reply Guest, July 13th, 2015, 4:23 pm

@Story Guardian 171: the tree and the light are the same being. Of course, the tree is only really there to protect the ground below it from being burned up by the light, being used as a mask of sorts. What rgb is telling hero is basically a backstory to how the tree got that white -------- on it. Hope that helps!

Reply Story Guardian 171 (Guest), July 16th, 2015, 10:58 am

@Guest: Ah yes, that does help clear up matters thank you.
